Weekly snapshot rhythm
How a week moves from monitor capture to human comparison — the custom map of our service model.
Rainy evenings in Central are when many of our clients finally sit still long enough to look at a ledger. The snapshot rhythm is designed for that hour: capture first, interpret later, keep the midweek noise out of the file.
Lock the window
At onboarding we agree a recurring close — default Sunday 23:00 HKT. The desktop performance monitor is set to that clock so every export shares the same second.
Capture holdings
Balances, allocation, and annotated cash-flows land in a single snapshot file. You glance to confirm venues responded; you do not rebuild the week by hand.
Compare benchmarks
Primary and secondary lines — chosen in the benchmark workshop — load beside the portfolio. The monitor computes the week’s relative move without inventing a narrative.
Human review
In the [Weekly Snapshot Review](/services/weekly-snapshot-review/) we read contribution, drift, and threshold breaches together. The output is a one-page note, not a trade ticket.
File and wait
The summary sits with your records. The next capture is already scheduled. Midweek charts may still shout; the ledger does not answer until the window opens again.
