Origin

Scalable Connects began when two colleagues in Central grew tired of comparing portfolios from mismatched screenshots. One kept books in a spreadsheet updated at random hours; the other refreshed exchange apps during every commute. Neither could say, with a straight face, how the week had gone against a fair line.

We built a routine instead: a desktop performance monitor that captures holdings at a fixed window, and a human review that reads the snapshot against benchmarks chosen in advance. The brand name stuck because the work is about connecting weeks to each other — scalable in the sense of a repeating ritual, not in the sense of a sprawling product empire.

How we work

Sessions are appointment-based. Between meetings, the monitor does the dull recording. We meet by video across Hong Kong and nearby time zones, or at 100 Queen’s Road Central, Central, Hong Kong when a quiet room helps.

We decline mandates that ask for trade execution or custody. Our expertise sits in portfolio ledger discipline: windows, contribution, allocation drift, and benchmark honesty.

People

Reviews are led by practitioners who have kept personal and client-adjacent crypto ledgers through more than one full market cycle in Asia. We speak plain Cantonese and English in session when helpful; written summaries go out in English unless you ask otherwise.
